Not quite His Airness, but one extremely versatile offensive lineman
73 days until kickoff! That means it’s time for another edition of The Men Behind the Numbers. As we discussed in the Orlando Pace episode, it’s rare that a freshman starts on the offensive line. In fact, it took 23 years after Pace did it for another one to do it. The next freshman to do it was Michael Jordan. Slate and I often discuss positional versatility when discussing linemen, both offensive and defensive. Michael Jordan exemplified that, and it resulted in personal accolades and professional career that’s still going today.
