The Opening Drive 12/29/25: Get To Know The OSU "2026" Signing Class

Get to know the next wave of Buckeyes.

What is going on everyone? Lost in the transition to Substack was the early signing period in recruiting. But, everything happens for a reason, because the class added it’s 28th member on Monday 12/22. We thought this would be a good chance to introduce you to the 28 man signing class. The class is comprised of 15 defensive players and 13 offensive players. I’ve included each players star ranking, position ranking, overall ranking, and high school. When referencing rankings we will use the 247Sports Composite ranking, which is comprised of ESPN, ON3, and 247Sports. I have also included a brief note on what excites me most about each player, be it something skill related or development related.
